    I can t help but feel that art history is a lesser science, if it can be called one yet at all This book was very interesting and enriched my visit to Italy, but I found myself doubting or questioning many of the authors conclusions, and not because I know anything about Roman Art but because I think much of the evidence sited seems flimsy or circumstantial to me.
