Oh look it wasn t a literary masterpiece but then I never expected it to be It s a good holiday quick read, full of glamour, sexy romps and self indulgent characters Yes I enjoyed it Not sure they needed the murder in it though It almost came right at the end with no real build up, no decent motive and no proper conclusion The book would have been better off without it.

If you like reading about spoiled rich people and enjoy being immersed in ridiculous drama, this is for you Even the characters you think you like at the beginning are quite hateful as the book progresses Summer is one character who fits this description, at the start she rejects the rich scene but gets completely sucked in and loses all sense of self, never returning to it There are a lot of characters and this was confusing listening to the audio book I particularly hated the voice given t If you like reading about spoiled rich people and enjoy being immersed in ridiculous drama, this is for you Even the characters you think you like at the beginning are quite hateful as the book progresses Summer is one character who fits this description, at the start she rejects the rich scene but gets completely sucked in and loses all sense of self, never returning to it There are a lot of characters and this was confusing listening to the audio book I particularly hated the voice given to Molly although I think you are supposed to hate her so I understand the choice The sex scenes were really cringey and it made the book feel cheap Sure, it s light hearted and doesn t take itself too seriously but I m pretty sure I will forget it instantly Maybe a good beach read
