The Legacy of the Key is a healthy dose of otherworldly goodness This is the first book in the Ancient Guardians series where we get to meet Reece Bryant, a normal human from planet Earth who leads a normal human life, until she is dragged along to another dimension where she learns she is the Key to the location of a stone powerful enough to destroy many other worlds or dimensions out there If she falls in the hands of the wrong people, everything would end badly, including for Earth. The new The Legacy of the Key is a healthy dose of otherworldly goodness This is the first book in the Ancient Guardians series where we get to meet Reece Bryant, a normal human from planet Earth who leads a normal human life, until she is dragged along to another dimension where she learns she is the Key to the location of a stone powerful enough to destroy many other worlds or dimensions out there If she falls in the hands of the wrong people, everything would end badly, including for Earth. The new dimension we are introduced here is called Pemdas, a place drawn so beautifully and unique that I would definitely love to visit there if given the chance My mind was flooded with so many rich images of this strange land that even they can t do justice to how S L Morgan describes it It s a land with an explosion of colors plants glow with different hues, the sky is everbrilliant than ours, even the animals and insects are interesting, similar as Earth s, but with their own particularities. The characters are another great thing to boast about this book They made me smile from ear to ear countless of times, both for their witty dialogues and for their distinctive personalities Reece, Levi and Harrison were my favorites, quite the team they made together Reece and Levi were so adorable as a couple, practically dripping honey whenever they were side by side And, Harrison was such a delight to be around with, always making funny comments and lightening up tense situations He s evenhilarious when dealing with the infuriating Simone, whose jealousy makes her such a pain in the neck so many times I really don t like her Crazy, crazy, crazy. So yes, I loved this book and I can t wait to continue the story I grew attached to these characters, to the beautiful Pemdas and the storyline that promises to get even better with its sequel You can also find this review at Cuzinlogic

I received this book free from the author in exchange of an honest review I thought the book was excellent It is a clean science fiction romance, but not as sci fi as you might imagine The characters are all mostly humans even though they travel through different dimensions I found the suspense to be good and the characters were very easy to get to know and like or dislike as the case may be I find myself wondering about the characters and how they will move forward in the future books.

In The Legacy of the Key, the first book in the Ancient Guardians series, by S.L Morgan, Reece Bryant and Levi Oxley are from two different worlds literally Reece may seem like your average human from Earth, until she meets Levi, who introduces her to the beautiful land he is from and makes her realize that she isspecial than she ever realized, inways than one Not only does she learn about the different worlds and dimensions she never knew existed, but she also soon falls in love In The Legacy of the Key, the first book in the Ancient Guardians series, by S.L Morgan, Reece Bryant and Levi Oxley are from two different worlds literally Reece may seem like your average human from Earth, until she meets Levi, who introduces her to the beautiful land he is from and makes her realize that she isspecial than she ever realized, inways than one Not only does she learn about the different worlds and dimensions she never knew existed, but she also soon falls in love with Levi, a Pemdas Guardian and the son of the emperor Levi has duties to protect not only his world but Earth as well However, his growing love for Reece complicates things as their enemies, whose complete focus is on capturing Reece, begin to make their move There are two words to describe this book ABSOLUTELY AMAZING It is very difficult to put into words how much I enjoyed it The concept of the different worlds and dimensions among us was unique and very intriguing it immediately had me hooked Also, the pacing was perfect the plot wasn t rushed at all, and it wasn t slow either Reece and Levi s relationship gradually grew, which made it completely realistic, and this brings me to my next point Only a brilliant writer can have a reader utterly engaged in and captivated by a book to the point where the real world is shut out and all that exists are the fictional characters and their world, which is exactly what happened to me I felt like I was right there alongside Reece and experiencing everything she felt and went through I hopelessly fell in love with Levi as Reece did, which doesn t happen very often Their relationship was so heartwarming and touching that I was so disappointed to see the book end but also ecstatic to continue reading the series A combination of romance, suspense, fantasy, and sci fi, The Legacy of the Key is exciting, adventurous, romantic, and is certainly a must read It is definitely the best book I have read in a long time S.L Morgan is an extremely talented storyteller, and she has become my new favorite author Now, if you ll excuse me, I have a sequel to read.Reviewed by ME for Readers Favorite

Well, I didn t all out hate it However I ve read much better fantasy, much better action and much better young adult ish genre books It was a lot of of talk and not even close to enough show Scenes went on way too long Pages and pages of characters telling our less exciting than a pool noodle heroine using the term loosely, because she did NOTHING that she deserved explanations and would get explanations at some point In the future Maybe Eventually When we did finally get what I thin Well, I didn t all out hate it However I ve read much better fantasy, much better action and much better young adult ish genre books It was a lot of of talk and not even close to enough show Scenes went on way too long Pages and pages of characters telling our less exciting than a pool noodle heroine using the term loosely, because she did NOTHING that she deserved explanations and would get explanations at some point In the future Maybe Eventually When we did finally get what I think was reasons, it was all so vague it didn t much matter After that it was a bunch of wandering around palaces, gardens, woods, and neighboring villages with no plot advancement Reece just worried her pretty little blonde head over how her life had changed and how much she had fallen for her tru wuv all while hating on the meany royal snobbery It felt like the author might have been going for a Jane Austen type vibe with some Mean Girls thrown in for laughsor for propping up said heroine It didn t work I was almost excited to get the big action climatic fight scenes Then I thought better of it and set my expectations low The car race had great promise Problem was it didn t just fall flat, it cratered There was nothing that ever showed how evil or menacing or even scary the bad guys were We were just told that was so and should thus believe it The great meeting in Scotland Nothing happened there either Alien 1 throws a fit and makes demands Aliens 2 5 nod in agreement Good guys burst in, take control CEO of the good guys makes a long winded speech Aliens 2 5 change their minds Alien 1 vows to get his revenge all while skulking off with his tail between his legs Everyone goes home with no blood shed or injuries And everyone lives happily every afterfor nowwhile the evil bad guys and the mean girls regroup and plan another way to get their revenge.Oh and if Levi called Reece my Love onetime, I was going to start throwing things a big pet peeve of mine She has a freakin name Just because you love her doesn t mean you can t use it any On the plus side, the descriptions were nice and the horses were sweet, lovable creature.I really don t see myself ever picking up book 2
