The above book blurb is uiet sufficient in giving you a glimpse of the story and rather than going into it again I'd like to tell you why I think this story is worth your time and moneyWhat is very obvious in every book I've read so far from Ms Harmon is that she respects her audience and gives them heroines that the said audience and I suspect the author herself can be proud of Yes there are heroes aplenty in her stories and mostly all Alpha males yet when she writes her heroines I am all aflutter just reading about them They are strong willful and very astute smart and witty femalesIn `My Lady Pirate' she does it again by giving us a woman that is strong and stubborn; loving and passionate; a leader and a warriorWhat I liked and appreciated was Ms Harmon's talent in creating a character that is NOT perfect and that engages my emotions Maeve did that for me She did things that many women do when confronted with men they fall in love with and don't want to admit that love She tried very hard not to love him even though the attraction was there No matter how hard she tried to build obstacles between them and even tried to make herself hate him in the end for the rest of my review please visit me at Romantic Crush Junkies Reviews eZinehttprcjrezinecom?pageid20ThanksMelanie for RCJR eZine

My Lady Pirate by Danelle HarmonI enjoy pirate stories and when the pirates are women I enjoy them The description of the book I am listing below is from the back jacket of the book I'm adding it because I believe the one on the Goodreads page does not depict this story UEEN OF THE SEAMaeve Merrick is the notorious Pirate ueen of the Caribbean a fierce and fiery she wolf burned by the treachery of men Sensuous and independent she sails the world's oceans with her loyal band of women warriors Desiring neither marriage nor love she wants for nothing—until the sea delivers to her a treasure beyond compareKING OF THE ROGUESHer gift is Gray a handsome castaway with a dangerous secret who is overcome with desire for the bold and bewitching pirate ueen Beneath a star studded sky Maeve succumbs to the magic of Gray's passionate touch For the dark stranger has vowed to conuer the beautiful buccaneer's heart But can he teach her to trust—and to love—once ?

This book is incredible and I’m totally 💯 sure that this is by far the best historical romance I’ve readI don’t no how I never earlier found this so epic and beautiful written love storyThese are characters you’ll find your self thinking about long after you finished the bookAfter PG Sea of Ruin I was so disappointed because of the great characters but the story and romance were a messAnd I was searching for a sexy Commodore sinceBUT I’m a lucky girl and got a freaking sexy handsome smart adorable Admiral Graham “ Grey” Falconer instead To all historical romance fans out there read this epic love story because it’s having everything you search in a romanceThe writing with all the wit and banter between the heroine and hero will fill you with laughter and entertainment I promise It’s never boring while the writing is fluent and everything makes sense For the safety gangThere’s no cheating no rape just pure as Sinn love romance and a hero who’s completely devoted to his “Majesty” 😉aka his heroine Can’t praise it enough and this one is a re re reread book for sure

Great taleThe hero fantasized about pirates and even imagines himself a pirate The heroine is the real thing with a band of female pirates to boot The fantasy makes him fall in just and in love until he realizes she isn't just playacting like he is Eventually there is a happy ending but there is the usual angst until then A good story with a trifle too much sex to make it five stars but I realize that is a matter of taste for some
