This was such a lovely short but delightful story, it was really enjoyable from start to finish and even gave me a giggle in a couple of places The only downside to it, is that it was a short story, I think this would have been brilliant as a full length novel, thinking of all the extra drama and challenges the author could have written into the story, not to mention developing the romance storyline in muchdetail. But despite that, I enjoyed this short story which let me escape the distrac This was such a lovely short but delightful story, it was really enjoyable from start to finish and even gave me a giggle in a couple of places The only downside to it, is that it was a short story, I think this would have been brilliant as a full length novel, thinking of all the extra drama and challenges the author could have written into the story, not to mention developing the romance storyline in muchdetail. But despite that, I enjoyed this short story which let me escape the distraction of my own life for just a little time The characters were wonderful and as always with this author, so very well written too

I know this was a novella but it was still a lot shorter than I was expecting I wish it had been a full length novel because it had so much potential.

A very short little romantic novella, perfect for reading with a cup of tea.

Really enjoyed this little story expecially with me being a bronte fan, jane eyre being a favourite The truth is i d have loved it to be a full novel as it was a great storyline Highly recommend

This is a very short story, and consequently I felt there was very little time or effort spent to really develop anything about the characters or the romance This story trades on the fact that you are already familiar with the novel Jane Eyre because that way the reader can fill in the details of the romantic hero s Henry s character I found there was little to interest me in this ebook sadly It was only because it was so short that I found it a quick read, but there is hardly anything un This is a very short story, and consequently I felt there was very little time or effort spent to really develop anything about the characters or the romance This story trades on the fact that you are already familiar with the novel Jane Eyre because that way the reader can fill in the details of the romantic hero s Henry s character I found there was little to interest me in this ebook sadly It was only because it was so short that I found it a quick read, but there is hardly anything unique about this story or any new light shed on what a modern Mr Rochester would be like Eleri feels very taken with Henry very quickly and mostly it seems it s because he bears a resemblance to the description of Mr Rochester in the novel There s hardly any backstory on these characters lives given, with the only drama between Henry and his cousin over their inheritance Which was all rather lackluster The writing is fine, and there were some ideas in this story that I enjoyed, but ultimately this was a disappointment because I felt it had very little substance

A really nice, fun quick read that has really whetted my appetite for Trisha s new novel I didn t dare read the preview of the new book at the end because they always make me so frustrated with having to wait to find out what happens next The story is great fun though and feels just like her novels, which short stories don t always do.

Too short I did enjoy it, although the fictional idea that Charlotte was inspired to create Mr R based on a farmer was highly amusing Somehow methinks that soundslike Emily s Heathcliff than Mr R And when the modern writer goes to visit the fictional farm, the conflict between brothers Henry and Charlie certainly feelslike WH than JE With that being said, still amusing that Henry a.k.a the descendant of Charlotte Bronte s farmer muse is a chef and an ambitious entrepren Too short I did enjoy it, although the fictional idea that Charlotte was inspired to create Mr R based on a farmer was highly amusing Somehow methinks that soundslike Emily s Heathcliff than Mr R And when the modern writer goes to visit the fictional farm, the conflict between brothers Henry and Charlie certainly feelslike WH than JE With that being said, still amusing that Henry a.k.a the descendant of Charlotte Bronte s farmer muse is a chef and an ambitious entrepreneur The part where Henry comes out with baked cheese scones had me laughing for several minutes What would make for evenhumorous fan fiction of sorts Somehow have the actual Jane and Rochester view all of this as a play Sort of like Hamlet s famous play within a play scene Jane and Rochester s reactions are sure to be priceless In all seriousness this is not a bad novella I wish it had been longer anddeveloped, but the idea itself isn t bad I ve read a few Bronte inspired spinoffs and sadly, quite a few are poorly done Not the case with Finding Mr Rochester As I said, good idea in need of further development, but the writing was decent I recommend for a quick and fun read

A fun, albeit short, book that whisks the reader from wherever they are to the York Moors for a modern retelling of Jane Eyre.
