I really don t understand the number of high ratings for this.Riley works for a cyber security type company and she is searching for a leak in a financial investment firm Dirk what an awful name is the CEO of said firm and he s convinced that if she pretends to be his girlfriend, she would have better access to information and determine the source of the leak We enter the story in the middle of what seems to be a fashion makeover and we don t know why, which was confusing enough, but the I really don t understand the number of high ratings for this.Riley works for a cyber security type company and she is searching for a leak in a financial investment firm Dirk what an awful name is the CEO of said firm and he s convinced that if she pretends to be his girlfriend, she would have better access to information and determine the source of the leak We enter the story in the middle of what seems to be a fashion makeover and we don t know why, which was confusing enough, but then it seems like every other page had a typo, a grammatical error, a poorly written sentence or just incorrect information so it was hard to not be confused For example, at a formal dinner you do not start at the inside out but the outside in WTF Also, last time I checked, eyes can t be husky blue, but their color can be DUSKY blue There were also a number of places where it was just confusing Do his parents live in Connecticut or Martha s Vineyard I am also tired of characters turning into Nancy Drew at the drop of a hat You get a creepy vibe from the dude who you think emailed you and you still want to go meet him and you re not going to tell the guy who hired you None of it makes sense.Thank god this was free

This book if you can call it that left me feeling highly degraded In fact I m sure it d leave every reader feeling degraded It s sexist, badly written somehow worse than 50 shades and so confusing that I don t think the author has any idea what she s even written on the page before How are we meant to follow what s going on when the author hasn t done the same

Intriguing I liked this book but I find Riley rather reckless When you re intuition tells you that something is not right with someone you don t make plans to meet them where no one knows how to find you As a woman you have to think about safety in that type of business Self defense is important for all women especially in that line of work Pepper spray, a whistle, a line open with a friend on the other line in case something happens I know that this is a novel but berealistic All t Intriguing I liked this book but I find Riley rather reckless When you re intuition tells you that something is not right with someone you don t make plans to meet them where no one knows how to find you As a woman you have to think about safety in that type of business Self defense is important for all women especially in that line of work Pepper spray, a whistle, a line open with a friend on the other line in case something happens I know that this is a novel but berealistic All this after almost being raped at a family gathering full of people Any fool would have beencareful

Excellent thriller Started out as a mystery interlaced with romance undeserving of Dirk Riley, doing her job as best she can is mistrusted by Dirk Because of his lack of trust and not believing Riley, she gets in trouble.
