    This is a fantastic book about an incredibly interesting man, who is arguably the best poet Iceland ever produced It is a scholarly work, and not only a biography There is a great deal of poetic analysis in it.

    A friend gave me this after we found out that I ll be going to Iceland this summer It s a very academic text, so it can be a heavy read at times, but I am really enjoying it.
