This book includes one of my favorite Christmas novellas, the Best Husband Money Can Buy It is a story I read every single year without fail It is heart warming with that touch of Christmas magic MJP has said the basic idea of the story, a poor person praying at a stranger s funeral, is based off of a newspaper article she had read I think this tidbit adds to the story even if the 2 are only connected by MJ Putney The second story is a Western romance, not a genre MJP is known for wri This book includes one of my favorite Christmas novellas, the Best Husband Money Can Buy It is a story I read every single year without fail It is heart warming with that touch of Christmas magic MJP has said the basic idea of the story, a poor person praying at a stranger s funeral, is based off of a newspaper article she had read I think this tidbit adds to the story even if the 2 are only connected by MJ Putney The second story is a Western romance, not a genre MJP is known for writing, it a good story however not as strong as the first However since I had wanted The Best Husband for the kindle for several years, I was pleased with the book and consider the second story an added bonus

Two fabulous but distinctly different and utterly delight Christmas novellas One is Victorian, the other a western In both, the couples find love unexpectedly at Christmas time.

Two Novellasa little bitthan a short story Ms Putney never disappoints They are both good stories The first is in the Regency Period my favorite Period to read and one is an 1870 Western not my favorite Genre I don t feel a need to read Holiday Hearts 1 unless it comes to me by accident Recommend if it happens to come your way or you like reading Novellas, both Regency and Western.
