I had to read this one twiceAloha This is not the average spiritual book or book about a near death experience or three it is about the lessons of life for your soul and going forward from here and now onward The author writes plainly and reaches the reader with something greater than common sense aligned with soul understanding Love is the lesson behind life and what can we do to make it happen to do it present to make us present in it it is here in these pages Concepts of radical kindness radical forgiveness radical surrender see a pattern are discussed using the energy of love to heal the different types of pain we experience through life being aware of those things that extinguish the potential in life coming back to the Source there is so much to gain within these pagesI didn't know what to expect when I began this book after reading it I had to go through it again this time with a pen highlighter and notebook next to me It is not complicated it is simple yet wonderfully written and the message is one that is a gift to have and to share This is a First Reads Thank You Goodreads

Done with the book The author makes few interesting points Good The main take aways are to practice radical forgiveness radical kindness and radical surrender to the universe to achieve one's happiness A lot of thoughts are based on good and noble philosophies from around the world I must give the credit to the author that there is religious preference while an underlying theme is to take what applies makes sense from all sources treating them without discrimination Could be better I feel currently that the amount of text could have been shorter to get the same communication; however the writing style is fairly smooth Here is author's radio talk 1 of 4 I am going to finish all 4 I could not find the 2nd part so here is the full one here is the author's blog have contacted the author by IM wishing him a long and fulfilling life He responded promptly The way it started I did not expect anything specific from the book To me it was a book written to provoke thoughts for one self I am satisfied with what I have read I have not read many books on the topic; so I have no reference; in any case this was a good read What could be better A lot of words paragraphs could be eliminated to reduce the length and to get the point across and to increase retention It would be good if the author lists actual advice actions or highlights during the book for folks It will be easier for retention and implementation for common folks

SO MUCH MOREI found Robert Kopecky’s funny little book about living and dying to be an amazing read Crafted with an irrepressible sense of humor and universal spirituality Kopecky’s rather rocky journey and subseuent revelations are indeed fascinating His writing style is easy and enjoyable to follow The elements of his understanding are woven into a compelling gripping funny and thought provoking story I found his examinations of happiness pain love and loss to be wonderfully thought out and cleverly defined I actually read this book during a terrible period of tragic personal loss While facing a horrific decision to stop life support a chapter titled “The Hardest Part Is Always the Parting Part” provided a truly comforting and most insightful perspective on saying goodbye to my brother I think anyone facing similar situations would find valuable solace in Kopecky’s writingsNot to be overlooked are the most wonderful interpretive illustrated doodles Kopecky utilizes as character guides preceding and ending each chapter This book seems so much than a thoughtful account analysis and eventual enlightenment of an NDE survivor’s story brought to page It uite simply lands rewardingly close to a treasured archetypal manual for understanding our perpetual place in the universe I know it will remain in my collection as a cherished reference manual about life and the best way to live it and leave it I would heartily urge everyone to find the time for this remarkable read A very special book

As much as death is a part of life we tend to identify it with darkness Kopecky has brought light and humor to a subject that we as a culture work hard not to to address We know surviving life can be a struggle but the author has survived death so often that he can speak first hand of limitlessness where boundaries were thought to exist Kopecky's story is one of unusual gifts received the lessons that came with them and the wondrous beauty of existence Could it all be as easy as embracing love and acceptance? It could

This book is a good introduction to living a life of conscious awareness for the skeptic It touches on several topics in a lighthearted non threatening way I bought the book after hearing Robert Kopecky speak I was hoping it would incorporate information drawn from his in depth research on various cultures and religions and their views of death but these were barely mentioned specifically This book is definitely for the beginner on the path of spiritual enlightenment

  7. Robert Robert says:

The humor with which the author writes about such a terrible experience makes you reconsider it I liked the not so serious approach on death and the conclusions the author reached after not one but three near death experiences

Reassuring BeliefsA spiritual based read for all faiths The near death experiences affirmed my personal beliefs in the afterlife Thought provoking
