I saw Bill and Pam Farrel on My New Day and really enjoyed their programs so when I found this book at our local grocery store I picked it up This was definitely worth the read There was a lot in here that was very helpful but one of the pieces of advice that was the most applicable to me was her suggestion to let go of people who are emotionally toxic in your life Often there are people in our lives that we are deeply invested in for whatever reason and we continue to invest ourselves because we feel like we aren't allowed to back off There are times when it's healthier to remove yourself from that situation and pray for that person rather than stepping in and trying to fix it You can still love and hope for the best for them but you don't always need to become engaged personally because it can be destructive to both parties

I bought my copy at the airport it was a short flight so I thought of buying something light But this book when you allow it to sink in isn't that light It opens your heart It asks us women to allow God to work into our lives To allow Him to be part of our decisions It's a wonderful book Perfect gift for sisters and friends
