An awesome picture book That’s about as much review as I’ve got in this case Zlozower incorporated a few inserts from various folks about their relationships with Motley Crue over the years not particularly interesting or well written as well as a few thoughts from the band members themselves But as the title pretty well sums up this is a visual history And the visual parts are brilliant Which is good since that’s really the whole purpose is it not?

the photos were uite good mostly photoshoots and concert pics but I really wished they had added off the cuff and candid shots the type that tell story than just a posed glammed up shot the interviews well one or two are pretty good some actually have no business being in this book

Only thing I can say about this book is that it is well documented in high uality pictures full of outtakes from the most important part of their careers as a band I am somewhat envious because I am a photographer and enjoy anything that I can get my hands on when it comes to photojournalism It is all good though because 100% of what you see in this book was all done on professional film You have to be really good at what you do

I enjoyed this uite a lot As always I'd like to have had words but there was some stuff here I didn't know much about and they had a good selection of entries from people we've not heard much from before such as those who helped or designed the clothing All in all a worthy addition to the Crue chronicles

45 starsThe only reason I don't give this book 5 stars is because it should have really been a COMPLETE visual of the band rather than just Neil Zlozower's photos but it is very cool nonetheless
