Picked up this read aloud because we have been learning about Egypt mummies I was disappointed to find out that this book about Tutankhamun s Mummy really has nothing to do with Tutankhamun at all, but is merely a poor rambling by King Tut s mother ie mommy mummy and her scatterbrained thoughts I couldn t even finish reading it, and the kids didn t seem to care at all They seemed to be mostly confused about the writing style anyway random, disjointed, unedited dialogue ie free flow thou Picked up this read aloud because we have been learning about Egypt mummies I was disappointed to find out that this book about Tutankhamun s Mummy really has nothing to do with Tutankhamun at all, but is merely a poor rambling by King Tut s mother ie mommy mummy and her scatterbrained thoughts I couldn t even finish reading it, and the kids didn t seem to care at all They seemed to be mostly confused about the writing style anyway random, disjointed, unedited dialogue ie free flow thoughts Trust me, don t waste your time with this book
